Anyone up for a challenge?

I didn't eat enough yesterday (what?!?!) so woke up hungry. Luckily, I also woke up at 5:00 so had time to prepare MaryLu's baked steel-cut oats. Along with a banana and a glass of skim milk - now THAT is a satisfying meal!

Check out this abs challenge that I found on Pinterest, which may be even a bigger time-suck than Facebook:
Day 1 looks easy, right? And it was a piece of cake. I'm not sure day 29 will be such a walk in the park, but nowhere does it say that it all has to be done in one session. If I spread that out over a day, it will be doable. Remind me of that in a few weeks.

I just finished a treadmill workout that, for the first time since maybe October, involved some running. I thought I'd start the Couch to 5K treadmill program, since that has worked before. I was a little nervous to run on a fairly recently surgerized (would Words With Friends accept that?) knee and a newly epiduralized back, but it worked a bit. I use the word "run" loosely, but as my friend Marcy says, if both feet are off the ground at the same time, it's running. I ran the first and last scheduled minutes, then did 30 seconds of running on all the other scheduled running minutes. If you look at the program, it makes more sense.

Have a great day! My son's future mother-in-law is coming up from Lincoln and we're going to do some wedding stuff!

(Spellcheck does not recognize my new words.)
